This prompts the texture in the coating to be evenly distributed across the surface. No more uneven streaking or clumbs of texture!<\/p>\n<p>Apply to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patios<\/li>\n<li>Steps<\/li>\n<li>Walkways<\/li>\n<li>Ramps<\/li>\n<li>Pool Surrounds<\/li>\n<li>Driveways<\/li>\n<li>Tennis Courts<\/li>\n<li>High Traffic Areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>APPLICATION DIRECTIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Stir contents well to ensure even dispersion<\/li>\n<li>With a high quality brush, pre-apply to small areas such as stairs or edges.<\/li>\n<li>Attach Roller cage to extension pole. For main areas pour TredMax in a long continuous bead across the short side of the surface being coated.<\/li>\n<li>For uniform sheen and texture Roll product uniformly and finish with long, even strokes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>No foot traffic for the first 24 hours.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">SURFACE PREPARATION<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Masonry and Concrete<\/strong> ~ Allow all poured or precast concrete to cure for 28 days. Smooth, trowled concrete must be acid etched. Follow etching directions. Rinse thoroughly to allow to dry completely.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Unocated Painted Substrates<\/strong>\u00a0~ New asphalt must be cured for 14 days (longer during cooler weather). Surface must be free of oil, grease and dirt. Clean surface using a power washer and dry well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Previously Painted Substrates<\/strong>\u00a0~ Wash and rinse surface using\u00a0<strong>The Duke, cleaner and degreaser<\/strong>. Remove all loose and flaking paint. Sand all glossy durfaces to a dull appearance then remove sanding debris.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">PRE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Intermix containers if using more than one container. This is particularly important if the TredMax containers have different batch numbers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Batch numbers are located on the top of the lid. TredMax can be easily applied with a high quality paint brush or 3\/8&#8243; nap roller.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">TEMPERATURE \/ DRY TIME<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Apply when surface temperature is above 10\u00b0C\/50\u00b0F. Do not apoply if rain is in the forcast within 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Dries to the touch in 1 &#8211; 2 hours at median temperature of 21\u00b0C\/72\u00b0F. May be re-coated after 8 hours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">COVERAGE<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Apply TredMax at the rate of 80 sq. ft. to 100 sq. ft, per Gallon per coat.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Do not apply if:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Rain is forecast in the next 12 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Temperature is expected to fall below 10\u00b0C (50\u00b0F) within 24 hours.<\/li>\n<li>The surface is warm to the touch under direct sunlight.<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s late in the day and the dew point will be reached in 2 to 4 hours\u00a08 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">STORAGE AND CLEANUP<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Clean tools and equipment immediately after application with soap and warm water.<\/p>\n<p>Keep from freezing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For additional information if you have any questions please contact us at <strong>1.800.943.8226.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">Top of Page<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TredMax Application Instructions &nbsp; With Tredmax you get perfectly round\u00a0microceramic microspheres\u00a0which act as ball bearings during application.
